Popular trademarked toys pose a significant challenge for Makers looking to incorporate similar elements into their designs. A group of innovative 3D Printer enthusiasts is addressing this issue by hosting a competition to create new and improved construction toy designs. For more information, visit myminifactory and join the conversation using #beyondthebrick. As part of this competition, I am presenting an original design entry. I encourage all my followers, fans, and friends to visit the designated platform and cast their votes in my favor. This initial set consists of 25 distinctive items, with the potential for additional components if readers or likers request them. The current collection includes: Six basic construction units in three different sizes, adhering to a standard 1:2 ratio and featuring corresponding half pieces (10x20mm, 20x40mm, and 20x40mm tall). Five irregularly sized pieces with diverse characteristics, often longer than the standard options. Six 45-degree angle pieces available in the three sizes and left/right configurations. Eight decorative flat-top caps designed to fit on top of walls, accommodating any of the aforementioned items.
