Offset Telecaster (aka Telemaster Jazzcaster) Pickguards
prusaprinters
This is an Custom Pickguard for my "Squier Paranormal Offset Telecaster". Mine came with an Singlecoil Telecaster Neck pickup and an pickguard for that but the Body is already routed for Humbucker in Neck and seemingly up to Strat Singlecoils in the middle position. 4 Versions: Humbucker neck Humbucker neck (centered) Humbucker neck and Telecaster Singlecoil in middle Humbucker neck and Telecaster Singlecoil in middle (centererd) The whole point of the centered versions is simply so that the middle of the Pickguard for the slicer is in the middle of the string-path. That will result into that if you choose "Archimedean Cords" as top fill pattern in the current PrusaSlicer, the curves will center around the Humbucker. The Pickguard holes are not drilled as they are not completely standardized and it would have made way to much work measuring them and putting them into the 3D model. So simply a) Lay the old pickguard on the 3D Printed one and mark, then drill the holes - this way it will definitely match your guitars holes. Or b) attach it any other way without screws (double sided but removable tape) like I did for a cleaner look! Do not wonder, my guitar is strongly modified. In the neck Humbucker position that is actually an Humbucker sized P90 (Tonerider Rebel 90) and the Telecaster pickups are a set of Fender Custom Shop 51' Nocaster Pickups. The wiring is with an 5 way switch with an 500K linear pot for volume and an 500k audio-taper pot with an .047 uf cap for Tone control. That pot/cap values felt like the best compromise for the 3 Pickups. The Rebel 90 seems to be not in phase with the Nocaster set, so the Neck + Middle position doesn't sound that great. But the other 4 positions sound awesome and give lots of possibilities. The Middle + Bridge Position sound absolutely wonderful! Print Settings Printer: Large one :) Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.7 mm height (yes I mean that) Infill: 100% Filament: - PLA White Notes: Of course pickguards are large so you need an big Printer!
