This is a custom-designed SSD adapter engineered specifically for Dell PCs with a 3.5" drive bay. It seamlessly integrates into the existing caddy, requiring no screws or other attachments, thanks to its clever push-fit design. The caddy's offset alignment ensures that the SSD drives sit perfectly off-centre, eliminating any potential interference with connectors. In contrast, most standard adapters I've researched are centred, which can cause connectivity issues. To achieve optimal functionality while minimizing material waste, I've deliberately kept the adapter's body as slender as possible. Although it may flex slightly under stress, the insertion of the SSD drive effectively stabilizes the adapter, preventing any unwanted movement or damage.
