Official Raspberry Pi 7" LCD Case Fan Back Cover
thingiverse
This is a cooling fan back cover plate I designed specifically for the Official Raspberry Pi 7" LCD Case. Here's a link to the fan I used on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072FW3DDQ/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_YefOCbTA0TSVM If you've already connected your LCD to the GPIO pins 2 & 6, you'll want to plug in the fan to the much quieter 3v connection. Simply connect the red wire to pin 1 and the black wire to pin 9. Pin 1 is located on the top left next to the existing red wire, while pin 9 is five positions down from the top on the same side. In the example picture, you'll see it plugged into a second 5v connection. I switched it after a few days because it was too loud and powerful for my needs. The 3v connection works perfectly. To assemble this project, you'll need: * 4 M3x12mm bolts * 4 M3 nuts I printed the plate exactly as specified in the STL file, with the rounded side facing up. I used a line infill of 10% for the pegs and fan hole to ensure a sturdy build.
