Honored to Polish Airmen Who since 2005 as members of Military Units have served within NATO forces participating in Estonian Republic airspace supervision along with the Latvian Republic and Lithuanian Republic or ensuring the 2006 NATO summit security in the Latvian Republic. Also, this honor can be bestowed upon Polish aircrew serving outside units on various military operations or serving abroad as members of such units. A small square medal measures 44 x 44 mm. Between the cross arms are crossed swords while laurel sprays rest between the horizontal and upper arms. On the front side, it displays the cipher RP (Poland), name ZALOGI/LOTNICZE (aircrew) and three laurel leaves beneath. The backside carries a Latin phrase PACI/SERVIO (I serve peace).
