The renovation of this building in Bodegraven, Netherlands was undertaken by Ben Kraan architecten. Klaas Vermaas served as project architect and oversaw the completed transformation in 2016. A change in ownership necessitated not only a renovation but also a redesign of the original entrance portal which had developed leaks over time. This entrance is located on one side rather than at the front, an unusual feature that warranted the incorporation of asymmetry into the design to better align with its shape.
