Office Cube/Wall Name Plate

I designed this name plate to replace the boring one I had on my cube at work. PARTS: It has 2 main parts.  The BasePlate is designed to be mounted to the wall or the cube.  The TextPlate slides into the BasePlate and can be removed or replaced when you get that promotion! There is a second TextPlate that has a cutout for adding custom logos or “coins” and they are press fit in with the LogoSpacer.  You can also add logos to the TextPlate by importing the logo of choice and overlaying it in the slicer. The text for the name is created in Fusion 360 then exported as a .stl.  It is added to the TextPlate in the slicer When importing all files at once, they should be positioned correctly to print with a MMU unit.  PRINT SETTINGS:I printed the text side down with MMU to make a smooth front face with text.  If you don't have a MMU, you will have to print with the text on top. The BasePlate should print with the large flat side down (the side with the grooves should be facing up).  This way you don't need supports to print. The other parts can be printed with any flat side on the build plate. This is designed to be printed with a 0.4 mm nozzle.Printed with PLALayer Height of  0.2 mmQuality Print Settings ASSEMBLY:If printing with the MMU, combine your text, TextPlate, and ConnectingEdge in the slicer (the text is the same thickness as the TextPlate so can aligne with the build surface).  Select the colors for each component (I made the ConnectingEdge match my BasePlate color).  Print the BasePlate and the combined Text Plate. If not printing with MMU, print the BasePlate and ConnectingPlate.  Combine the TextPlate with the text and align the text with the surface of the TextPlate.  Configure the slicer to do a color change at the text layer.  Print the Text Plate. Optionally: print the Logo Spacer and CubeHanger Once all parts are complete, just slide the TextPlate into the BasePlate.   Optionally: Insert a logo and press in the logo spacer.  Slide the CubeHanger onto the BasePlate.
