Office Chair Feet - Customizable (fusion 360)

myminifactory

I wanted to accomplish two things: lower the chair, because the lowest setting with the wheels is still too high for me, and use the chair on wooden floors without damaging them. This model is designed specifically for an IKEA Markus chair, but I've included a .f3d and a .step file so that you can customize the parameters to fit your office chair as well. You may need Fusion 360 to edit these files. Initially, I was going to buy rubber to attach to the bottom of the feet, but a more budget-friendly option was to cut up an old rug and use it as a floor protector. The feet are held in place by friction alone, so if I pick up the chair, they won't come loose. The combined weight of the chair and myself is approximately 90kg, split evenly between five feet.
