First, ensure your file is scaled correctly using inches as the measurement unit. 2. Next, upload the file to a USB drive and plug it into your 3D printer; if you have a wireless 3D printer, you can transmit the file directly without needing a USB drive. 3. Before initiating your print, follow your printer's guidelines for unloading and reloading filament. For MakerBot Replicator users, this involves pulling up the slot and pressing on the lock to unload the filament, then releasing the spool by pressing on the spool lock while ensuring a secure grip on the filament line. Wrap the filament around the spool before storage, making sure it is securely locked in place within the line slots on the spool. To load new filament, install the spool of your desired color and push the filament line into the tube extending into the extruder. Load the filament into the extruder while ensuring it reaches the required temperature, then push the filament into the slot on top of the extruder. Once the filament line catches and the extruder changes color, you can begin printing.
