Sweep up the chips with the OffAxis Labs Dust Boot! This dust boot has been specifically designed to clean up the mess on hobby grade CNC routers equipped with a Dewalt DWP611 or Makita RT0701C routers. High quality 3d printed dust collection attachment allows 2-1/2in vacuum hose to be attached directly to your router. The attachment is quick and easy to install. Simply slide the base onto the router and secure it in place using the M5 screw. The center clearance hole allows the base to fit snugly over the collet nut, while the LED lights shine down on the work piece. The low profile design of the dust boot does not sacrifice any z-axis travel. Tool changes are a breeze because the dust boot doesn't block access to the collet nut or the spindle lock button. The two-piece design makes it easy to remove the hose attachment and base by simply removing the M5 screws. M5x20 screws and brass heat set threaded inserts allow for reliable and repeated removals. The 2in flexible brushes contain the mess, allowing the dust to be sucked away. The brushes are also removable, making it possible to view the router bit while the powerful vacuum continues to sweep away the chips. The brushes are angled outward so that complete coverage is maintained even when the z-axis plunges into the part. If replacement brushes are needed, simply slide in a new brush and trim to length. 3in length brushes are available for added convenience. Unique cooling channels assist with keeping the router cool by allowing air from the internal fan to escape below the clamp ring. The vacuum also pulls air through the router to help keep temperatures down. A locking rib in the internal bore of the base attachment prevents the base from spinning on the router, ensuring a secure fit.
