Off-Road Wheels for Longboard
thingiverse
These are some wheels I designed for my longboard that let it tackle off-road terrain and handle rough bumps. Here's a video of them in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgY0EefeHPs They're made to fit 68.9mm wheels, though the label says they're 70mm - the difference is due to old, worn-out tires. Check your own wheel diameter and adjust the model accordingly. I've included a fusion design file so it's easy to change dimensions. Also, there's a test piece you can print first - made to save plastic - then check if the new size fits before printing the whole wheel. That way, you won't waste plastic on an entire wheel just to find out it doesn't fit. Print these wheels in PETG or ABS or TPU or whatever material you think will withstand the stress of riding. I recommend using dense honeycomb infill for durability. You might also experiment with changing the tread texture or even removing the treads altogether. Let me know what works and how, so we can all learn from your success stories!
