This system works exceptionally well for off-road applications. (see demo video) I've already used this off-road robotics platform for various projects: (autonomous solar rovers, Fpv crawler, long-distance off-road exploration robots). I'll eventually publish those projects as well, but for now I'm focusing on developing documentation and assembly videos to make this off-road robotics platform an accessible DIY project for anyone interested in off-road robotics. Nice feature: I utilize strings to connect the differential suspension system instead of tie-rods or gears. This reduces the number of moving parts, thereby decreasing the cost and complexity of the rovers.
