OEM Prusa i3 MK3S Extruder Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate
myminifactory
There's a critical flaw in the Original Prusa Research MK3S Extruder design. Components around the hotend can sag while printing with the advertised filaments, and those with an enclosure are even more at risk. I've encountered this problem firsthand with a factory part, not something I printed myself. Even self-printed PETG had the same issue unless the infill was increased to at least 30%, which comes at the cost of motor wear from added mass. Uploaded files contain factory R4 Extruder Components from Prusa Research. To fix this issue, reprint the parts with ABS or Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate. For private orders and pictures, send me a message. I can print extruders using Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate material that look like professional-grade prints. All models are printed on Prusa Textured Sheet with perfect results - no warp, misaligned walls, or defects. I mostly use my printer for professional drafting and fun side projects. Rest assured, the printed parts are of high quality. Unfortunately, I can't afford to have my printer down for long due to the numerous mechanical drafts from CertaScan Technologies.
