While drip tray is fairly stable if you place it atop a scale, I wanted some peace of mind while pulling espresso and swapping cups around.This model uses a 6 x 3mm magnet to attach the base to the drip tray.I've also uploaded a taller version that fits the drip tray snug enough to not need magnet. I just think the lower profile version looks better.
