This is a model of Odyssey, the command-service module for Apollo 13. July 5, 2017: I completely overhauled and upgraded Odyssey. I fixed the large hole where a window should be, and enlarged the thrusters to boost performance. Print Settings Printer: HICTOP Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: High Infill: 10% or more Notes: You must print this with supports, as linear thrusters will disintegrate if printed too quickly. I highly recommend printing at high resolution for optimal results. To achieve a flawless finish on the top, where it's most visible, print from the bottom up. I used PLA filament, but you can choose any material. NOTE: Thruster detachment is unpredictable. Some thrusters may fall off, while others remain securely attached. When I upgraded Odyssey on July 5, 2017, only two out of eight thrusters detached. In earlier versions, nearly all thrusters were lost. How I Designed This Tip: I employed multiple CAD software tools: one for the primary design and another for intricate details.
