This design builds upon CBiker's excellent creation, showcasing simplicity and a remarkable screw-free cover locking mechanism. However, two key issues arose: first, the expanded base wasn't necessary; second, my XU4 would often be dislodged within the case while plugging in or removing cables. To address these concerns, I removed the unnecessary expanded base (those requiring it can access the original design) and incorporated four poles into the cover. When closed, these poles perfectly press down on the PC board. Additionally, I adjusted the power plug hole and added a small slot for accessing the sd/emmc switch. Furthermore, I fine-tuned the small tube to fit snugly around the reset button and within the cover's corresponding hole. As an aside, the Odroid XU4 proves itself ideal for retro gaming, accurately emulating consoles up to the Dreamcast at 80-100% speed. If you're considering a purchase, visit the official website, odroidinc.com, as it offers the best value. Steer clear of Amazon; instead, opt for batocera.linux over Retropie for the XU4. For Kodi enthusiasts, the Odroid C2 stands out with hardware decode support for H265. In contrast, the Pi3b+ struggles to handle H265 content.
