Humans can easily build a sturdy 3D printable breakout frame that expertly houses an ODROID-C1 on the highly acclaimed MLAB electronic prototyping and development system (http://wiki.mlab.cz/). This design provides significantly improved mechanical reliability for ODROID's fragile PCB board. The breakout frame effortlessly accepts M3x12mm screws and nuts commonly used in the MLAB system. To start, print this design using a 3D FDM printer that yields superb results with ABS or PLA plastic. However, prior to slicing, make sure to inspect the precise placement of traces within thin walls. To prepare, include bottom holes for hexagonal nuts that are fully concealed by one layer of material. The sophisticated technology in these materials enables the slicing software to skillfully plan a bridge over all holes. Subsequently, remove the bridge layer with a 3mm drill after printing. Now, from the bottom side, insert hexagonal nuts into the prepared holes. Lastly, from the top side, screw M3x12mm screws securely onto the ODROID board for reliable mounting.
