In our Multimedia class we were given a challenge to make 3D printed toys that would fit in a vending machine capsule. The purpose of the project was to learn about 3D modeling and 3D printing and share this with our school and beyond. Each student was responsible for creating 5 designs, and learned about how to design models that don’t need support material or adhesion. My design series is called “oddly shaped kirbys”. The designs were made with tinkercad Some challenges were the over hands and the styling of the Kirby so the eyes pop out more than previous versions The things I most like about the models are how they look like actual mouth full kirbys (where kirby eats a object) The first model is called U Kirby The second model is called Cylinder Kirby The third model is Ball Kirby The fourth model is called Burnt Kirby The fifth model is Bread Kirby Instructions Print using no less than 20% fill. Default speed and heat, no supports or rafts. I'm fine with anyone taking the print and using it as inspiration or in another model Elias M Multimedia and Design Studies Cold Lake High School
