Odd layers, ??% more strength
thingiverse
I've been wondering why outer and inner layers are placed parallel (at the same layer height). That create horizontal breaking line making parts weaker - I think. I made two test objects with the vertical layer shift. The outer walls are shifted 1/2 layer higher than inner ones. Seems that surface are equal quality. Left ones are 'normal' even layer and right ones 'odd' layer parts.
