I've modified the Oculus Touch straps to keep them in a ring shape, making it easy for your hand to pass through. I tested this design on the Oculus Quest controller and found that it works well. If you find the fit too tight, try printing the straps at 104% - 108% scale. This should give you a comfortable fit without sacrificing any of the functionality.
