Oculus touch - gun stock
thingiverse
I designed a Gun stock for Oculus Touch VR controllers to improve aim and get a more immersive feeling while playing games such as Onward. This is a remix of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1745148/, which was originally created for the HTC Vive. I made some changes so you could use magnets to snap on the Oculus mounts, but my neodymium magnets weren't strong enough, so I glued them to the rail mounts instead. It's still easy to attach the touch controllers. I did a few tweaks to the shoulder stock and the mount after I printed mine, so these models aren't 100% tested yet. You'll need to print five different parts: three VRR3a2.stl files (rails), two VRRb3.stl files (rail mounts), one VRR3e2r.stl file (stock mount), and three other stl files for the touch controllers. The rails are a tight fit, so be careful when you attach them. Use superglue to make them extra strong. Then, superglue the touch mounts with the rail mounts and place them where you want them on the rail. If you think the shoulder stock is too high, you can simply rotate the stock mount 180 degrees to get it a little lower. I'll probably update these designs in the future and upload new versions. In fact, I've already made some changes: on January 26th, I added a new touch mount that feels better, and on February 8th, I created mk3 touch mounts that fit much better in the hands than the original mk2. I've kept the mk2 stl files available if you prefer a bigger grip.
