Oculus Touch Controller Caps for CV1
thingiverse
Neutral Digital was commissioned to design a VR experience centered around Air Canada's cutting-edge Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Throughout our testing phase, we consistently encountered a frustrating issue where users would inadvertently click the 'Oculus Home' button on their controllers, disrupting the entire experience. After discovering that software updates couldn't disable this problematic button, we concluded that implementing physical caps was the most effective solution. Not only would these caps prevent accidental button presses, but they would also enhance the overall appearance of the controller, making it a more visually appealing addition to exhibition spaces where it would be displayed. Please note: Separate caps are designed for both left and right controllers, so be sure to review the files before printing to ensure accurate installation.
