I'd like to thank Alexis_R and this fantastic model (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4195091) for their incredible work. The main issue I faced with it was that it didn't print closely enough, making it difficult to fit my controller into place. Specifically, the area where the controller is supposed to slide in was too tight and I struggled to get the hinged cover to shut properly. Moreover, I felt that the design was more complicated than necessary, featuring a hinged cover and allen screws, which made it frustratingly hard to remove the controller quickly for another game or session. To address these concerns, I created this new version using a simple velcro strap. I completely re-topologized the entire model in Cinema 4D since I didn't have access to the CAD files, making some adjustments along the way. The result is perfect, and thanks to Eleven Table Tennis's kind gesture of adding a preset for the accessory, it works flawlessly. UPDATE: Version 2 has now been uploaded with an added second loop on the right side for the velcro strap to slide through, ensuring it stays securely in place and doesn't slide down at all. In the near future, I plan to add a dimple in the hook where it meets the ring of the oculus controller and fine-tune the cradle for the controller. I hope you enjoy this new version and would love to hear your thoughts!
