Oculus Rift ventilation
thingiverse
This is a functional air ventilation system for the Rift CV1.\r\nTo operate it, you'll need a 35mm Radial Notebook-Fan powered by a 5V source.\r\nA tube with insulation from a thicker USB-cable will be required, as well as a power source - I use a rechargeable 18650 battery.\r\nYou'll also need double-sided tape for secure attachment.\r\nTo complete the setup, create small slots in your facemask.\r\nWith this ventilation system, you'll experience only a slight breeze, which is sufficient to prevent fogging and won't disturb your eyes - I recommend using a lens holder as well, which may also help minimize drafts.\r\nOnly one Infrared LED will be obstructed by the setup, but this shouldn't impact tracking performance.
