Oculus Rift Sensor Mount for LG E2411PU Monitor
thingiverse
This is my maiden voyage into designing something for 3D printing. I wanted a solution to take the Oculus Rift Sensors off my desk and safely store them away, so I decided this would be my first dive into 3D printing. The monitor mount is tailored specifically for my model of monitor, LG 2411, and it fits perfectly, but I'm confident it can be easily modified to fit most other monitors. A hole for the Oculus Sensor measures 9mm in diameter by 10mm deep, providing plenty of clearance. At the back of the mount, I created a channel for the sensor cable to pass through and another channel towards the bottom for a small cable tie to secure the sensor and cable to the mount. A little double-sided sticky pad is all it takes to secure the mount to the monitor, and that's it - done deal. I'm hoping I haven't made too many rookie mistakes with this design, but when I printed it in fine resolution, it turned out great and my sensors are safely stored away. Happy days!
