Oculus Rift S Facial Interface (Compatible with HTC Vive Cushion)
thingiverse
Replacement for the Rift S facial interface with a wider lip to accommodate HTC Vive cushions seamlessly. The clips were swapped out for friction nubs to guarantee durability, performing optimally with materials like TPU. I attach the cushion to the printed part using small pieces of Velcro. Special appreciation goes to the members of the Oculus Subreddit for their insightful suggestions in developing this model. [Edit Aug 28 2019] The face side was reconfigured for a superior fit. [Edit Aug 29 2019] The cut shape was modified to allow ample space for the headband, increasing the height of friction nubs and decreasing the overall height of the model to bring the eyes closer to the lenses. The face side was also angled at 2.5 degrees to provide a more comfortable fit on the face. [Edit Aug 30 2019] Recommended print settings were updated to reflect findings with the FlashForge Dreamer printer, marking the final revision.
