Oculus Rift CV1 headphone adapter for Rift S
thingiverse
I'm eager to mount Oculus Rift CV1 on-ear headphones onto my new Oculus Rift S. The inspiration behind this project came from two Thingaverse pages: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3615447 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3652427. Using PTC Creo, I designed new adapters which required two iterations to achieve the perfect headphone position. The components I purchased include: Audio cable with right-angle plug ($5.99): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y67RRZZ/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_TDp-CbMGA77P7 M3 knurled nuts ($5.59): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LFSNNSK/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_nEp-CbXFW79K6 Oculus Rift CV1 on-ear headphones ($39): https://www.oculus.com/rift/accessories/?locale=en_US The total cost for me was $54. Photos demonstrate how I carried out this build, and I'm open to answering any questions you may have.
