Oculus Rift Camera Mount
thingiverse
Ever wondered how to see what's going on around you without taking off your Oculus Rift? We're right there with you. We got an Oculus Rift to "be inside" our robot while driving it, but in heated competition we need to know what's happening around us. So, we created a way to mount a camera onto the Oculus Rift without changing its case at all. After five versions, here's a camera mount for Oculus Rift DK2 that does exactly that. This camera mount works by clamping onto the power and HDMI connector on the front of the OR. It even comes with zip tie holes to securely attach your camera to the mount - you can also use them to lock in your camera if needed. Instructions: Print this mount, a little filing might be necessary for the perfect fit. Thread a loop of zip ties through the provided holes and attach your camera. Once secured, push the mount down over the cables and slide it down to the cable's base.
