Magnetic Power Bank Mount for Oculus Quest: A Custom Solution I Created. I designed this magnetic power bank mount specifically for my Oculus Quest, and it attaches securely to the headstrap using zip ties. The mount contains three powerful neodymium magnets measuring 25mm x 8mm x 2mm each. After researching various mounts online, I found that many were tailored to specific power banks, limiting flexibility in terms of upgrading or swapping batteries. This is why I set out to create a more versatile solution. To assemble the mount, I applied super glue directly to my power bank and attached three identical magnets. While a metal plate might offer even better results, this approach worked effectively for me. A key tip when printing the mount is to pause just before the magnet slots begin bridging. This allows you to carefully place your magnets in position, ensuring a secure fit.
