Kudos to ATARKA and DE_Designs for their innovative work on the handles for the Oculus Quest. A missing piece has been identified online, prompting a design alteration to make it happen: A compelling Darth Maul mod for playing beat saber. You will need the parts that actually hold the controller from ATARKA's original design here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4187469 The handles were merged together and cleaned up in meshmixer, resulting in a smooth grip and an easy-to-hold design. To print these, use 20% infill for the handles and 100% infill for the screw part. A little bit of support on the build plate is also necessary for the handle. Super glue the two screw halves together, ensuring correct orientation. There is an offset at either end (see pictures), which can be filed or sanded down as needed to adjust the alignment of the handle pieces together. Two-part epoxy was used to secure one screw in a handle, while the other uses friction fit for assembly.
