That overheating message is really getting on my nerves, isn't it? I'm going to take down that annoying notification with this. This fix uses a 40 mm fan - mine's a USB-powered model with a speed selector, and it was quite affordable but gets the job done. There are two small loops on either side if you need to hold it in place; I plan to use an elastic band with the clamps that come with the headset. You'll see what I mean when you look at them. I tested this fix by bringing my battery down to 10% then plugging in the power and doing all sorts of things: playing games while streaming video, watching a movie on Virtual Desktop with everything maxed (and boost clock enabled) - it's that one that likes to trigger the temperature warning. But this kept things cool enough. Overall I'm really pleased with how well it worked. There are two files; the "logo" one has the Oculus logo, and the other doesn't have a logo at all.
