I crafted this component specifically to hold my Oculus sensors snugly in place at each corner of my room without damaging the walls with unsightly drill holes. To avoid any damage, I designed it to securely adhere to the wall using a strong adhesive. The mount is cleverly engineered so that it can be attached first and then the sensor can be added once the adhesive has fully set. I used hot glue and a trusty glue gun for this task. To ensure a solid bond between the glue and the surface, I made sure to roughen up the surfaces by engraving text onto them. The sensor fits perfectly into its designated space within the mount, allowing it to be rotated and tilted as needed to achieve the desired angle. Moreover, there is ample room for rotation and tilting, making it easy to aim the sensor precisely. The cable can also be easily tucked away within the provided cable guide, which is designed to prevent the cable from slipping out due to gravity's gentle pull. I decided to mirror the print for my second sensor in the opposite corner, which isn't strictly necessary but gives me the symmetrical cable guides I prefer.
