Oculus Constellation Camera Angle Adapter

Oculus Constellation Camera Angle Adapter

The perfect setup for 360-degree and room-scale experiences with the Oculus Rift system involves mirroring the HTC Vive setup, where sensors are placed on opposite sides of the room, elevated high and aimed downwards. However, the included Constellation Camera stands do not allow for sufficient downward angling in cramped spaces. To overcome this challenge, I created these custom adapters. To use them, simply detach the camera from its base by unscrewing it and insert one of these adapters between the two components. I discovered that printing with a brim resulted in a snug fit on one side, which was resolved by orienting the print "upside-down" compared to the standard setting.
