While searching for something special to present to my granddaughter on her high school graduation day, I stumbled upon the Mortar Board Graduation Hat by tc_fea. His photo showcased his hat atop Thing1 by Zomboe. I modified both files to work seamlessly together and flattened the eyeball so that you can attach a 7mm-12mm googly eye available at most hobby and craft stores. The assembled pieces measure approximately 2.600" (66mm) in height. I have also included SolidWorks 2013 files and .stp files for anyone who wants to make adjustments according to their preferences. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: M2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 or higher Infill: 30% Notes: Print the octozombie with its feet down against the build plate. Print the graduation hat with the flat top side of the hat facing down against the build plate. I printed the photo using 3 bottom solid layers, 3 top solid layers, and 2 perimeter shells. The print was done at a layer height of 0.20 mm, taking about 2 hours to complete both pieces. Good results and reduced print time can be achieved with up to 0.30mm layer height.
