Octopus Phone Holder
thingiverse
This is a one-of-a-kind phone holder inspired by an octopus's unique design. Two little wave-like pieces at the front of its base prevent the phone from sliding forward when leaned against its front tentacles, which are about 3cm apart. The assembly consists of three distinct parts: an octopus head part, a base part, and six identical tentacle parts that snap together seamlessly. From top to bottom, this amazing creation stands at approximately 5.5cm tall. The slender tentacles boast a diameter of 1.2cm at their base and rise up to 4.4cm in height, expertly crafted using advanced lofting techniques and linear patterns with precise guide curves. The suckers that adorn these flexible appendages add an extra touch of realism. At the heart of this masterpiece is the octopus head itself, standing proudly at 4.9cm tall and featuring a sophisticated combination of lofts and revolves. Its base is a sturdy circle measuring 13cm in diameter and a mere 0.5cm thick, excluding the two wave-like protrusions that give it its distinctive look. Within this circular foundation lie flat areas where pegs await to securely fasten the octopus head and tentacles, which boast cut extruded slots for added stability.
