Let me start to thank user 0110-M-P from Thingiverse for sharing his great work at Thingiverse:\r\nhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:922740\r\n\r\nI remixed this excellent job to get following results:\r\n\r\n* active cooling with a Noctua 40x10 5V fan that's quiet and efficient\r\n* fewer hardware parts needed to mount it, which is a big advantage\r\n* a shape that fits perfectly onto Prusa MK3S 30x30 aluminum extrusions\r\n* some modifications made to improve air passage for better cooling\r\n\r\nComponents required:\r\n* Raspberry Pi3 B+, a great board for DIY projects\r\n* Noctua 40x10 5V fan, which is highly rated by many users\r\n\r\n<b>Please double-check that you'll buy the 5V fan.</b>\r\n\r\nThe fan is securely attached to the case cover using its own soft silicone anti-vibration mounts (included with the fan).\r\n\r\nFan connects directly to Raspberry through GPIO port, using the connector found in the fan box (refer to the enclosed picture for details).\r\n<b>Double-check polarity</b>, because I had to swap the position of the 5V and GROUND cables on the fan connector (please check GPIO scheme in the pictures)\r\n\r\nHardware needed:\r\n* 4 - M3x18 (or M3x20) screws that fit perfectly\r\n* 4 - M3 hex nuts for secure mounting\r\n\r\nI used standard screws and nuts from Prusa hardware spare bag, but they're easy to find elsewhere.\r\n\r\nRaspberry Pi3 B+ fits snugly into the 4 pins in the bottom case and is held in place by the case cover itself.\r\nCover is secured with 4 screws and nuts.\r\n\r\nIn the end, the whole case is designed to hook onto the 30x30 aluminum extrusion on the right side of the printer.\r\n\r\nHappy printing !
