Octoprint Pi 4b case front for iUniker cooler
thingiverse
I was trying to follow an octoprint upgrade bill of materials for my Prusa I3 MK3S, and they recommended this cooler: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D5WWNH6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 For the pi because the OP and some users were seeing high temps on their Pis on long prints, when used with a camera. The included thermal tape just doesn't work. If mounted with the pi's board vertical, as was the case with the original expanded control enclosure design of the instructions I was following, the cooler falls off in minutes. I found this case: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3706018 And really liked the inclusion of the Octoprint logo, and access slot for the GPIO pins, and pi camera, but it didn't have enough clearance for the cooler. So I stretched it 3mm taller, added locating features to sandwich the cooler in place, and covered over the usb port receptacles because now it's tall enough to do so. All seems to fit well for me. Its a stretch but if this helps 1 other person uploading it will have been worth the trouble.
