OctoPrint Pi 3B Case for Ender-3 v2 w/Fan and GPIO Cutout
thingiverse
I tried a few different Ender 3v2 rail-mount cases for my Rpi 3B. This snap-together case was my favorite. Using TinkerCAD, I added a 30mm fan cutout to the lid and sliced a window to be able to externally access my GPIO pins. Mounted fan blowing inward. Hardware used to mount the fan: QTY 4: M3x12 Hex cap screw QTY 4: M3 Nut Original Case, Case Bottom and Mount Bracket: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4713922 Pulled the 30mm fan cutout from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3256773 NOTE: WILL ***NOT*** WORK IF YOUR Pi HAS A CPU HEATSINK. Clearance is too low. Either modify the original design or find another case. My CAD skills are not yet up to that task. Other option would be to mount fan externally on the outside of the case. Printing: Printed with wide 30 line brim and support tabs under the GPIO cutout. This eliminated warping of this big flat object.
