OctoPrint Monitor (Remix) (JeffCo)
thingiverse
NEW! - Check out my latest creation, a sleeker case for the WeMos D1 Mini featuring a 0.96" display. Take a look at the video! This design is inspired by Qrome's OctoPrint Monitor posted on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2884823). His page offers source code and additional links to help you get started. I took the original design as a starting point but made significant changes, using a different processor and incorporating the 1.3" OLED display instead. I also created custom covers for both displays. For easier assembly, I recommend soldering wires directly to each component rather than relying on plug-in jumpers due to space constraints. Bending pins at a 45-degree angle can be a bit tricky but offers an alternative solution. To take it to the next level, I added magnets to the back of my case, allowing you to attach it almost anywhere. Feel free to reach out with your thoughts and questions. You can check out the video here: https://youtu.be/CRARHNvFU3c To assemble the display, I used 4 M2x8mm screws and nuts. For mounting the board to the case, I employed M2x6mm self-tapping screws, while securing the cover required M2x12mm self-tapping screws.
