Octoprint Kit for the Rostock Max V2
thingiverse
This is a compact three-piece kit for Raspberry Pi B+ that combines Octoprint with Rostock Max V2 in a neatly organized setup. The custom-made case features integrated cable management for the power cord, ensuring everything stays tidy and easily accessible. Refer to the attached instructions for easy assembly. To achieve this innovative design, I modified essential files from two well-established open-source designs: one from thingiverse.com (Thing 437827) and another from thingiverse.com (Thing 523115). This kit consists of: A versatile side panel with pre-drilled M3 screw holes for securely mounting the Raspberry Pi board. The lower case portion, featuring a convenient cable management compartment to manage your Micro USB power cable. The two parts of the case are attached using four sturdy #4-1/2in wood screws and can be mounted to the side panel via four solid M3 screws. Additionally, there are two separate designs available: Print one for right-sided mounting if you want to secure it on the RIGHT back panel (I used this design for the examples in my images). Print one for left-sided mounting if you prefer to mount it on the LEFT back panel. For optimal results, I suggest printing all components with PLA at a .15 or .2 layer height. For the side panel, I recommend standing it up vertically during the printing process and utilizing a 6mm skirt with 20% infill to ensure even adhesion.
