Octoprint camera support
thingiverse
Support for Raspberry Pi official camera can be used effectively when paired with Octoprint. To ensure the right picture orientation, it's recommended to configure these settings: Features > Webcam & Timelapse. The options include flipping the webcam horizontally, vertically, or rotating it 90 degrees counterclockwise. A small wedge is secured using double-sided tape, while the main wedge uses one of the PCB screws. If the camera module and main wedge are not securely attached, applying hot glue over the small cylinders can provide extra support. This mounting method was initially tested on an Anet A8 printer but should be easily adaptable to similar printers. When using a Raspberry Pi Zero, a special cable version is required. In this case, a 16cm cable length will suffice. For detailed instructions on setting up a Raspberry Pi with Octoprint on an Anet A8, refer to the post at http://apuntes.eduardofilo.es/2018/10/20/Octoprint-en-Anet-A8.html.
