OctoPi Raspberry Pi Support Bracket

OctoPi Raspberry Pi Support Bracket

Shortly after setting up my CR-10S, I discovered OctoPi (excellent software!). I found several adapters for the Raspberry Pi (RPi) and decided to both reduce cable clutter and use a USB-based webcam instead of the RPi camera. I really appreciated what https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2570622 did in his SD card holder, using power supply screws to secure it to the control box side. I took inspiration from the referenced remixes and designed a support bracket that allows the RPi to be mounted on the control box's side using the two remaining power supply screws. Please note that when selecting screws, make sure they don't protrude further than necessary into the housing. Although the picture shows it printed in blue, I have since reprinted the bracket and RPi case in black to match the control unit. The flanges that hold the case are a bit delicate as I sized them to fit the original design. Be careful when removing the support bracket from the bed, removing supports, and inserting the RPi case into the bracket. Printed at 0.2mm with supports due to the flange overhang. Enjoy!
