OctoPi case with relay
thingiverse
More images have been uploaded. The cover is fairly basic at present and will be revised to fit better around the pi ethernet and USB ports. I also uploaded the snap-fit bases I made for the pi and relay. It can be challenging to cut out parts from a complete STL file, so I left these available. ***WARNING*** If you cannot safely wire the relay into this enclosure, don't do it. 120v AC is deadly and not similar to playing with an Arduino MCU or LEDs connected to a 9v battery. You can die if you do that, then trees will suffer as oxygen won't be converted to carbon dioxide. I would appreciate any ideas for mounting this case. I considered attaching it underneath my Prusa i3MK2 by bridging the threaded rods. This way it is out of the way. This is a remix(ish) of luc_e's Raspberry Pi 7 Inch Touchscreen display case. It was sliced and diced to make it bigger, and also added a snap-fit base for the pi and the relay I am using. The base for the pi and relay will be included separately but the main case already has everything built in to the model. A new case lid is planned. Someone will likely realize that no room was left for SD card access. This was done because SD-card maintenance isn't planned. On rare occasions it may need to be performed, then the pi can be removed. If anyone wants, I could be convinced to add an opening and a tool to insert/remove the card. I appreciate any comments. A video about wiring and configuring a relay for octoprint was found (not my video): https://youtu.be/dQNBeAZpRmk
