Octopi Camera Arm and Mount for Heavy Duty Shelves
thingiverse
This was my maiden voyage with Fusion 360. It's not flawless, but it gets the job done for me. I printed it out on Orange Hatchbox PLA using .10mm layer height on my trusty Prusa. The arm is the only part that requires some finesse as it needs to be printed upright. You'll want to use a raft, but apart from that, it doesn't need any support. (Though, you could print it lying flat with support if you prefer.) The other parts don't require any support whatsoever. I'm thoroughly pleased with how the clip attaches to the shelf and could definitely reuse this design for others if I want to hang other things from the shelves. The ball that mounts to the shelf is quite snug, so it might need a bit more clearance if I print it again. It would be nice if the socket was angled or rotated, but this setup works just fine. The mount in the picture has been given a few drops of CA glue in each joint to keep it pointing in the right direction (at least until my preschooler decides he wants to get his hands on it).
