Octopi 6" Rack Gehäuse mit 3,5" Touchdisplay
thingiverse
I really enjoyed the design, but I wished there was a way to display it better. Installed now: - Raspberry Pi 3B - Joy-it 3.5" Touchscreen Display - 12V Fan with 50x50x10mm size - IDE cables (get rid of them and use female-male cables like the ones normally used on the Pi) - Original Pi Power Supply Setup: 1. Install Octopi and the display. 2. Install touch UI and set it as autostart. 3. Modify IDE cables (can be skipped with female-male cables, so not done). 4. Mount display in front plate, I stuck small pieces of felt to position it, then screw on plate. 5. Attach fan and connect it to 5V and GND from Pi (since they go to the display, make sure to take them off there, pay attention that this happens simultaneously). 6. Screw down the PI and secure the power cable with a cable tie so it's not subject to tension. 7. Complete wiring and screw on top or back plate. Have fun!
