A Soaring Success: The Glider That Takes Flight\nAs an engineering instructor at a high school academy, I'm passionate about spreading the word on aeronautical engineering through a PLA glider CAD and flight challenge. My latest creation, designed specifically for October, has exceeded my expectations - it's the best-printed model yet! To unlock its full potential, however, you'll need to use high-quality PLA with 0.25mm layers, one or two perimeters, and top and bottom layers at 10-25% infill.\nFeel free to change colors after the first layer if you'd like, but be aware that Simplify3D's settings won't compensate for a weak first layer. To achieve success, the initial layer must be rich in material and laid down smoothly on the bed, allowing it to bond with itself and form a strong, fused foundation.\nTo optimize flight performance, gently bend the entire fuselage by hand and adjust the angle of attack to manipulate lift.\nHappy flying!\nDC aka vinchlet
