Octomagnets are the ultimate fridge magnets, boasting eight flexible arms with a magnet at the end to hold notes, photos, and more securely. Printing one is an effortless task that results in a fun, functional, and extremely useful item for everyday use at home, in the office, or workshop. They also make great gifts and can be printed in your preferred color. Once finished, simply attach suitable-sized magnets and glue them firmly into place, following the post-print instructions and images for additional guidance. At standard scale, octomagnets measure 179mm wide by 13mm deep, so build plates must be at least this size to print the design successfully. Scaling it down is not advisable as it reduces joint clearances in the moving tentacles, necessitating smaller magnets that may not be strong enough to hold thicker paper or card.
