## Octet in F, a tray-packing puzzle by Stewart Coffin Fit all eight pieces into the parallelogram-shaped opening. This challenging puzzle is one of a series of tray-packing puzzles created by Stewart Coffin. If you're new to this type of puzzle, consider starting with another design from the collection page for recommendations. At first glance, it may seem impossible to fit the pieces together in the correct way, but perseverance will ultimately lead to success. The puzzle's size and shape can be deceiving, causing frustration if not handled correctly. Don't worry; there's nothing wrong with the model or your printer - simply keep trying until you find the solution. The STL files include three models: the individual pieces, the tray itself, and an optional lid for added convenience. The tray features a built-in space to store one of the puzzle pieces when not in use, making it easier to handle during the solving process. This design was created using PuzzleCAD, and I've included the .scad file for anyone interested in remixing or modifying the original model. Please note that you will need PuzzleCAD version 1.2 or later to open and edit this file. ### About the Designer Stewart Coffin is renowned as one of the most influential designers of interlocking mechanical puzzles, with a vast array of ingenious designs to his credit.
