Human: Octent refers to the division of an octahedron's plane into a curving surface. In this model, the indicated surface is defined by XYZ = constant, a three-branched hyperboloid. Four of these surfaces are inverted and joined to form a dome that actually comprises two concentric shells. The grid system used for layout in this type features Cartesian coordinates with 1/phi series intervals.
