Octavia Mk1 52mm Boost Gauge Vent

52mm boost gauge pod for fitting to the heater/AC vent in an Octavia Mk1. The diameter of the bore is 53mm as I found this fit my gauge securely while still being easy to slide in. It sits flush with the vent housing with the gauge tilted towards the driver and protruding from the vent to account for the length of my gauge. You'll need to remove your vent and knock out all the fins. I removed the open/close mechanism in the throat of the vent so it didn't foul on the boost line but it may be possible to keep it if you are fussed. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the throat to run the wiring and the boost line out of the vent, this way the vent can still blow out heat or AC effectively by keeping a continuous (mostly) closed channel up to the blower hole behind the dash.
